Just got this in. Rolex Cosmograph Daytona so called Paul Newman, ref. 6239 and serial 2xxxxxx, circa 1970. I purchased this watch from the original owner in Toronto, who had purchased the watch from a local Jewellery store in 1972. The watch has a very nice 3 colour exotic dial that is in excellent original condition with the stainless steel bezel. This watch has the original non-screw-down pushers and has the original stainless steel Oyster type bracelet. Reference number 6239 was the first and original 'Paul Newman' model and is very rare. The watch is very good mechanical condition and is in very nice overall condition. This watch will be priced fairly upon request.
