A surprising star! This is the classic vintage Rolex Oysterdate reference 6694, circa 1972 in stainless steel. The watch has a silver/grey dial with silver baton hands and markers, smooth bezel and a jubilee type bracelet. The watch sports a very reliable cal. 1225, 17 jewel movement that is mechanically wound. These watches were produced for many years as a gents watch. Recently I have found myself selling most of these watches to ladies. They are slowly starting to appreciate vintage timepieces and the 6694 makes the perfect watch for a woman to wear, especially with a case diameter of 34mm (small for a man today, but perfect for a woman). It has no complicated functions and is very easy to set. The watch is mechanically wound which has become a bit of a novelty for the ladies since many of them have never worn anything but quartz watches.
