VINTAGE ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL BIG BUBBLE BACK REF. 6028

Beautiful vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual ‘Big Bubble Back’, ref. 6028, circa 1955. This watch has a wonderful faded creamy white dial with raised gilt gold stick markers and Dauphine gold hands with a metallic blue centre sweep second hand. The case is in excellent condition for the age and shows very little wear with all the serial and reference numbers in great condition. This watch has a self-winding high grade Swiss movement by Rolex S.A. and is in good working order. The bracelet is a very rare ‘Jubilee’ type, by WAB (Watch Accessories Birmingham) for Rolex S.A. The company was owned by Oscar Winter who was very good friends with Hans Wilsdorf (1881-1960), founder of Rolex. They produced these bracelets for Rolex in the UK for a short while.
