RARE OMEGA SPEEDMASTER APOLLO XI 18K YELLOW GOLD
This is a very rare opportunity to own a real piece of history!!! 18k yellow gold Omega Speedmaster produced in 1969 in limited numbers (1014) to commemorate the first manned landing on the moon, complete with 18k yellow gold Omega bracelet. The first 39 watches were given to the astronauts with the exception of number 1 which was reserved for President Richard Nixon. Each watch was engraved with the name of the recipient on the back. The remaining 975 watches were engraved on the back "OMEGA SPEEDMASTER - APOLLO XI 1969 - THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON". This example is actually number 601 and comes to me from the original owner in excellent condition some minor scratches, the dial and movement are in 10/10 condition!!! This watch is a fast rising classic!!! Rolex stainless steel submariner date ref. 1680 and serial 2,57xxx, circa 1970. This watch has the very desirable 'RED' submariner dial with very nice matching patina on the hands and markers. This watch has the matching stainless steel Oyster bracelet with flip-lock. The watch is in very good condition showing some wear but nothing that can't be restored to original like new condition. The bracelet is in 7/10 condition for its age showing some stretch.
